HealthSmart first opened its doors in the summer of 2009.  Since then HealthSmart has gained a loyal following of health conscious customers.  The store's cleanliness and cozy feel has made it a neighborhood favorite amongst locals and has become Murray Hill’s own organic store.  We are forerunners in a new type of Natural Foods Store.  Our in-house nutritional advisor, Jim O’Donnell, can offer FREE advice in seven languages. In addition to vitamins and supplements we offer groceries and produce and prepared food that you can’t find everywhere.  We have a gluten–free section that rivals much larger stores, a good selection of raw foods, and of course our products are organic.  Even our pet food is organic.  We have an organic deli of hot and cold selections created by Chef Lulu, featuring her Organic Asian Specialties, and Macrobiotic cooking by Chef Kezia.  Also available are our fresh fruits and fresh fruit smoothies, and green juices and wheatgrass made fresh to order.  Seating is available at the front of the store.  In addition to all the products we offer, we have partnered with practitioners who share our philosophy of healthy foods and lifestyle.  Many have offered their knowledge and consult with live seminars held right in the store. We have come to be recognized as a source for services to create and/or maintain a healthy lifestyle.  We look forward to seeing you at HealthSmart.
